DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1 : Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your driver guide will pick you up at exactly 7 am and you will begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park , which is approximately 6 hours from Kampala . Drive westwards via Masaka ‐ Mbarara Highway . First stop will be at the Uganda Equator , where you will take plenty of pictures , grab a snack and use the toilet if you have to .

Lunch stop will be at Agip motel in Mbarara where you will rejuvenate your body with a delicious meal then continue the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park . You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the landscapes as you pass through Kabale , also the long horned Ankole cattle , vast tea plantations in Ishaka , savanna vegetation and so much more . Upon arrival to Queen Elizabeth National Park , you will check into the accommodation , relax , and take a nice cold / hot shower to wash away the exhaustion from the long hour journey , have dinner and rest for the next day 's activities .

DAY 2 : Early Game Drive , Afternoon Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel

Wake up at 6 : 00 am , have some African tea or coffee . Morning game drive will start out at exactly 6 : 30 am , an ideal time to see most of the animals who are up early for their breakfast . The carnivores are usually hunting around this time and the others on guard , extremely alert not to be the prey ! If you are lucky , you will definitely be part of this exciting action , so , wake up and pray for some luck too !

The game drive will be along Kasenyi and Queens mile trucks . Expect to encounter elephants , buffaloes , waterbucks , warthogs , lions , hyenas , leopards , giant forest hogs , Uganda kobs and lots of savannah birds . After a phenomenal 2 to 3 hours game drive , return to your accommodation facility and have breakfast , relax by the swimming pool until lunch . After lunch , you will have a boat cruise at 2 : 00 pm along the famous Kazinga Channel where you will see lots of Hippos and spectacular birds .

Day 3 : Another morning Game Drive , Travel back to Kampala

Wake up at 5 : 30 am to a steamy cup of tea or coffee and at 6 : 00 am have yet another morning game drive . Return to the lodge after the game drive , have a heavy breakfast , shower , get your things packed and be ready to leave the park to head to Kampala . Lunch stop to be made at Agip motel and then continue to drive back to Kampala where you will be dropped at your hotel .
