Detailed itinerary for 3 days Lake Mburo Queen Elizabeth safari Uganda

Day 1: Travel from Entebbe or Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park

After your breakfast, you’ll be picked up by a driver or tour guide, so that you start off the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. You’ll have a short stopover at the equator for snacks and take photos, so that you can get more information about the equator. Upon arrival to the park, have lunch and later on set out for an afternoon boat ride. You may be lucky to spot a variety of wildlife and bird species along the banks of Lake Mburo. And later on, you’ll have an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight

Day 2: Transfer from Lake Mburo to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early and have breakfast, then depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, the land of vast Savannah and a great variety of animals. After lunch, take an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, a home to big aquatic wildlife like hippos and Nile crocodiles. So, at this point, if you are a bird lover, you’ll be greatly entertained by lots of beautiful birds, like the African fish eagle, African skimmers, oxpeckers, lapwings, and kingfishers, among others. You’ll then head back to your lodge and have an evening of relaxation and getting your things in order, packed, and ready for the next day’s early morning departure.

Day 3: Early morning game drive, then travel back to Kampala or Entebbe

Wake up real early around 5:30 am, freshen up as you like, so that by the time of setting off and check out of the lodge with your packed breakfast, you are ready to set out for an early morning game drive, a good chance to catch the early morning risers. Once you have exhausted yourself with plenty of pictures of wildlife and nature, we shall exit the park and head straight back for Kampala with an en-route lunch.
