Detailed itinerary for 2 Days Akagera wildlife safari Rwanda
Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park
Have your early morning breakfast from a place of stay if you’re already in Rwanda, as you wait for pick up from either a hotel in Kigali or the airport by a Simba African Expeditions driver or guide, then head to Akagera National Park as our destination tour, which will take about 2 hours’ drive, check into your booked lodge or accommodation after having your lunch, and then set out for a boat cruise on Lake Ihema, thus sighting;
Hippos, crocodiles, and lots of waterbird’s species. Later on, transfer to the lodge for relaxation; besides that, go for an evening game drive to spot elephants, buffaloes, zebras, lions, waterbucks, and topis, among others. Continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive then Transfer back to Kigali.
Have your morning breakfast, and afterwards set off for a morning wildlife game drive where you will be able to spot different wildlife animals like lions, African elephants, cape buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, and many bird species. Later on, continue to Kigali city for lunch and be dropped off at your desired destination place.
