Detailed itinerary for 2 days Lake Naivasha Safaris

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

After morning breakfast, Simba African Expedition’s drivers will pick you up from the hotel to journey a two-hour drive from the Nairobi–Nakuru highway, which offers a scenic viewpoint of the Rift Valley escarpment and a native home setting. Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, head out for a smooth boat ride to spot the aquatic eco-tourism of hippos, African fish eagles, not forgetting flocks of flamingos and pelicans. Later, head to Crescent Island for a guided nature walk to spot giraffes, gazelles, and zebras while majestically walking through them.

Day 2: Morning experience and return back to Nairobi

Early morning calls are experienced from beautiful African jacanas and grey crowned cranes as the lake is covered with mist, which offers photographers beautiful landscape shots. If time permits for more experience, which takes 30 minutes to travel, Hell’s Gate National Park is the best option to experience zebras and giraffes or even take a hike to dramatic gorges and geothermal vents.
