Detailed itinerary for 5-days gorilla tracking, chimpanzee and wildlife safari in Uganda
Day 1: Travel from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi Forest National Park
With a pickup by one of our representatives who is both your guide and driver from your hotel of residence, the journey will start at 6:30 am as you should be ready and finished with your breakfast. You will be driving to the beautiful Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; you will use the route via Masaka – Mbarara. You will have a quick stopover at the Equator for some snacks and take a few photos to kick start your amazing trip.
Definitely you will have a lot to see as the route is blessed with beautiful from the beautiful views of vegetation to landforms, you will see some Ankole longhorn cattle and farms. With lunch en-route, you will continue your drive and arrive in Bwindi the home of the endangered mountain gorillas in the evening with dinner and overnight in a booked Accommodation.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Early breakfast with a drop-off to the starting point of the gorilla wildlife trekking point, you will then be briefed by your guides before you set off for the mountain’s gorilla tracking inside the Bwindi Forest. The starting point will depend on the different kinds of Gorilla groups you will be tracking as they are many families.
You should have packed lunch from the hotel you would have stayed for overnight carry drinking water, rain jacket and jungle boots as the rain down in Bwindi is so unpredictable while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick: You will later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight after the gorilla wildlife activity.

Day 3: Community walks in Bwindi Forest and transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Enjoy your breakfast prepared from your lodge than with the local guide take a community walk to typical Bakiga homes, traditional healers, local breweries and local art and craft shops. Return to the lodge for lunch check out and drive to your next destination Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Drive through the ishasha sector as you enjoy a game drive in the open Savannah on the edge of the Albertine Rift Valley in search of the very typical tree-climbing lions found only in this part of the country. This should conclude today as you will retire to the booked accommodation with dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning Game drive and Evening Boat cruise along Kazinga channel
Today you will be having a game drive in the very early morning as this will be one of the activities you will be taking part in Queen Elizabeth National Park before you leave, The game drive should start by 6:30 am as this will help you want to see the animals as they get out starting their day. As organized by the lodge, you leave for the game drive all you have is a cup of tea or coffee with some snacks. By 6:30 am you ought to be on the tracking road already to find the animal as the sunrises. Later after the game drive is done, you will drive back to the lodge for your full breakfast and of course, check out of the hotel/lodge.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax at the swimming pool as you wait for n lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise along the beautiful Kazinga Channel, this will give you an opportunity to see more birds, for example, many water birds, cormorants, pelicans, eagles and many other birds as well as crocodiles, hippos, African elephants, Buffaloes with dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge and travel back to Kampala
With breakfast done and out of the way, drive to Kyambura gorge for a forest walk to look for the habituated Chimpanzees and other primates. The chimpanzee is known for being mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but the walk is a great adventure and one you should look forward to doing. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and after drive back to Kampala with another stop at the Uganda equator but optional for shopping crafts.
