Detailed itinerary for 3-days Budget Gorilla Tracking Safari to Bwindi

Day 1: Journey from Kampala to the National Park of Bwindi Forest.

Have breakfast before 6:30 am, so that when your driver or guide pick you from the hotel or place of residence you’re ready to set off with the journey and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park, make a stopover at the Uganda equator for a cup of tea / coffee and photos, proceed to Mbarara pass via Lake Mburo National Park Gate make a stopover at the Igongo cultural Centre for lunch later on, continue to Bwindi National Park, check in at the Booked accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi and the community walk in Batwa.

Have breakfast by 6:30 am and get your packed lunch as your waiting to be transferred to the park offices for briefing by the rangers and be assigned a gorilla group you shall track.  By 8:00 am you’ll transfer to the Forest to trek the Mountain gorillas. After about an hour, return to the lodge for a snack, refresh and then later visit the local Batwa community to see indigenous ways of living. After return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
