DAY 1: ARRIVAL -NAIROBI
On arrival at Airport in Nairobi, a Simba African Expeditions customer service representative will receive you at the airport and assist with your transfer to the hotel of your choice. Have a quick rundown of safari program before you check into the hotel.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
After morning breakfast, Simba African Expeditions’ driver/guide will transfer you to Amboseli National Park, which is renowned for its many African elephants that roam freely across grassy plains, the Big Five, and stunning views of Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, among other plant and animal species. Lunch will be at your lodge before departing for an afternoon for a game watching drive.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Full day in the Amboseli National Park with two game drives. Going over this enormous lake bed, sometimes dry but occasionally marshy. Numerous wildlife are found here, including cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, gazelles, and herds of elephants, all against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro in all its splendor. If you’d like, you may also visit a Masai village to view their vibrant culture and experience the way of life of this nomadic tribe for a small price.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
This morning’s journey to the well-known Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area (NCCA), which includes rolling plains, lakes, craters, highlands, and dormant volcanoes, begins at the Namanga Border for customs and immigration procedures, followed by a hot, delicious lunch in Arusha. Make sure you arrive on time for a cultural village tour or to unwind at your resort

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
After breakfast, enter the ‘8th Wonder of the World’, a one-of-a-kind biosphere that has stayed virtually unchanged from the beginning of time. Its towering walls contain grasslands, swamps, woods, saltpans, a freshwater lake, and a plethora of birds. All of Africa’s ‘Big Five’ (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo) live here, along with a varied range of plains animals and one of the most densely populated predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before returning to the lodge to unwind for the evening.

DAY 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive via Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area (NCCA) with picnic lunch boxes to the adjoining Serengeti National Park, stopping at Ol Duvai Gorge along the way. Known as the ‘Cradle of Mankind’, this is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Famous paleontologists Louis and Mary Leakey pioneered it in the 1950s, and it provides a window into life two million years ago. Arrive at your lodge in time for relaxation and dinner.

DAY 7: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, spend a full day game driving (meals taken ‘in the bush’) in the enormous and magnificent Serengeti, which spans 14,763 square kilometers of eternally rolling savannah. The park is also known for its lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and plains game, as well as hosting ‘the greatest wildlife shows on Earth’, the yearly migration of over one million wildebeest. Stay overnight at the lodge.

DAY 8: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast and a briefing by your driver guide, drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, which is home to ‘the greatest wildlife extravaganza on earth’, the yearly migration of over one million wildebeest. En route, we will stop at the Isebania border to complete customs and migration requirements. You’ll eat picnic lunches along the way before heading to Kenya’s most popular reserve for a late afternoon wildlife drive. Arrive back to the lodge in time for campfire cocktails and supper.

DAY 9: MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Your day will be spent on safari in Africa’s most abundant animal viewing area. Historically abounding with wildlife, the Mara is home to Kenya’s largest lion prides and elephant populations. Other predators include leopards, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas; in the Mara River, there are fat hippo pods and massive Nile crocodiles. Other features include giraffe tops, gazelles, zebras, buffaloes, and over 550 bird species. Visit a Masai community and learn about Masai culture.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the Camp, leave the Masai Mara and return to Nairobi. Drive down the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi, passing the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot, lakes; Elementeita and Naivasha on their way. Keep a look out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you ascend the escarpment. You will arrive in Kenya’s bustling metropolis, Nairobi, in the early afternoon. Spend time on last-minute shopping. Transfer back to Nairobi city hotel!
