Detailed itinerary for 9-days Uganda Safaris and primate tracking tour
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison falls National Park
After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park, with an en-route branch off to Nakasongola at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking, have lunch and continue to the Park, check into your reserved lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise
Have breakfast, then transfer to the park for a game drive to spot wildlife like the Cape Buffaloes, African elephants, Lions, Leopards, Uganda kob, Warthogs, Giraffes, and Reedbuck to mention but a few. After relaxing have lunch and embark on an afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will find crocodiles, Hippos and lots of birds. You can opt to hike to the top of the falls where you will meet the driver and thus return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Bigodi walk.
After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park, and check into your reserved lodge in time for lunch. Most importantly transfer to Bigodi wetland where you will have a view of over 200 bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, pick up your packed lunch and set off to the park offices for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzees. After an hour with the chimps, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in to your reserved lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.

Day 5: Morning game drive – boat cruise – evening game drive
Early morning after breakfast, transfer to the park for a game drive with a chance to see African Elephants, Leopard, Lions, Cape Buffaloes, Uganda kob, Bushbaby and lots of birds. Besides that, have lunch thus embark on an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel to see crocodiles, Hippos and lots of birds. Day 6: Morning game drive in Ishasha – transfer to Bwindi

Day 7: Gorilla tracking Bwindi and Batwa community walk
Early morning after breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters with packed lunch for a briefing by the ranger about these gentle giants. The tracking starts at 8:00 am and as soon as you sight these Gorillas you are allowed 1 hour with them. Return to the lodge for refreshment and later go for a Batwa community walk thus enjoying their dances and vibrant songs. Continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 8: Transfer to Mgahinga for golden monkey then Lake Bunyonyi.
Have breakfast and then transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park straight to the park headquarters for briefing about the golden monkeys, enter the forest and track after checking out of the park, lunch en route and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, check into your reserved accommodation for refreshment, dinner and overnight. Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi canoe ride and transfer to Kampala
Have breakfast and set off for a morning boat canoe on the second deepest lake in Africa with a beautiful sight of Islands and lots of birds. Check out and transfer to Kampala, lunch en route in Mbarara, make a brief game drive in Lake Mburo National Park with a chance of sighting Zebras, another stopover at the equator for pictures and purchase of souvenirs thus arrive in Kampala late in the afternoon and be dropped off to your desired destination.
