Rwanda genocide ( Rwanda Dark Tourism )

Rwanda genocide ( Rwanda Dark Tourism ) was a mass slaughter organized by members of the Hutu political party against the Tutsi between April to July 1994. Spark off for this 100 days genocide was the shooting of the plane carrying Rwandan then president Juvenal Habyarimana, his counterpart Cyprien Ntaryamira of Burundi both Hutus and loss of live of all people that were on board.

This led to refugee crisis on Rwanda neighboring countries like Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Cong and Burundi. Even up today human skeletons are still discovered in dense bushes and church parking lots.

The UN and Belgium had forces in Rwanda but the UN mission was not given mandate to stop the killing. Finally the well-organized RPF backed by Uganda’s army gradually seized more territory until 4th July 19944 when forces marched into Kigali and ended the killing.
