Day 1: Transfer from Kampala–Sezibwa falls–Mabira forest walk–Source of the Nile Jinja

Early morning after breakfast, the driver will pick you up from your place of residence to the Eastern part of Uganda and the first stopover will be Sezibwa falls, spend 1-hour learning about Buganda’s culture then transfer to Mabira Rainforest for a nature walk while viewing monkeys and birds. After the nature walk continues to the source of the Nile. Most importantly set off for an evening boat canoe at the source of the Nile till late in the evening then continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Jinja-Sipi falls–community coffee tour.

Early morning after breakfast, drive from Jinja to Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa district, check in to your reserved accommodation, refresh and head out for a 2-hour hike return to the lodge for lunch, besides go for coffee tours thus learn how to pick coffee berries, grinding, roasting, and tasting. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo valley national Game Park

Wake up for breakfast, and drive from the east to the Northern part of Uganda in Karamoja to meet the true African wilderness. Lunch en-route arrival late in the afternoon. Check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Game drive in Kidepo Valley Game Park

Wake up for early morning breakfast; set off to see the early risers in Kidepo Valley National Park, there is a big chance of seeing Lions, Cape Buffaloes, Zebras, African Elephants, Giraffes and many others. Get ready to view different bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and get ready for another game drive in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park (lunch en route)

Wake up for an early morning game drive, check out and transfer to Murchison Falls Uganda’s largest and oldest National Park. Lunch en route, arrival late in the afternoon check into your reserved lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat ride

Have a cup of tea or coffee in the morning, and drive to the park with a high chance of sighting Uganda’s big fives likes; lions, Cape buffaloes, African elephants, leopards, giraffes, Uganda kob, warthogs and lots of bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch. Besides that, get ready for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls where you will sight more schools of hippos, elephants and other bird species. Most importantly hike to the top of the falls for another beautiful view then meet the driver back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Wake up to an early breakfast, check out the lodge, and drive to Kibale National Park still in the Albertine rift valley. Lunch en-route checks into your reserved lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking Kibale and Bigodi walk.

Wake up to a cup of tea or coffee and transfer to the park headquarters with packed lunch for a briefing about these apes by the park rangers, be educated on the rules and regulations followed when tracking chimpanzees, enter the forest and start tracking with an opportunity of spending 1 full hour with the chimps. Return to the lodge for refreshment and later in the evening transfer to Bigodi wetland for a nature walk with a chance of watching various bird species. Continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Transfer from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and continue with the Albertine rift valley, arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon, check into the Lodge, have lunch and set off for an evening game drive to see Elephants, lions, Buffaloes to mention but a few. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Morning Game drive – Afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel

Have a cup of tea/coffee and set off for a morning game drive at 6:30 am to meet the early risers in the park. These include lions, elephants, leopards and many others. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch later go to the Kazinga channel for a boat ride where you will find Buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and lots of birds and the lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Early morning after breakfast, drive through Ishasha sector with a great view of tree climbing lions, lunch en route and arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park late afternoon. Check into your reserved lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Gorilla tracking Bwindi and Batwa community

Early morning breakfast, drive to the headquarters with packed lunch for a briefing by the rangers about the dos and don’ts of Mountain Gorillas and be provided with walking sticks. Start off tracking at 8:00 am spend an hour with the gentle giants then return to the lodge for refreshment thus later go to Batwa community and enjoy vibrant songs and dances by the pigmy society. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park – community walk

Wake up to breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park with a view of the green beautiful scenery, check into your reserved lodge, have lunch and most importantly head out and visit the local community of the Bafumbira culture. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Golden monkey tracking

After breakfast, transfer to the park offices with packed lunch for a briefing by the rangers; enter the forest at 8 am to track golden monkeys which are so active, playful and chumming on the Gahinga trail. After an hour with these monkeys, transfer to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 15: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – canoe ride and Nature walk

Have breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, refresh as soon as you reach, have lunch and most importantly take a canoe ride to explore the island around the lake. Return to the lodge late in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 16: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Have breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, reach there in time for lunch, check in have lunch and head out for an evening boat ride with a view of Wild animals and lots of birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 17: Nature walk – travel back to Kampala / Entebbe

Wake up for tea or coffee and start a morning game drive in the park with a chance to see wildlife and lots of bird species.
